UNDERSTANDING MUDA, MURI, MURA

One of the fundamental principles of lean manufacturing is the identification and elimination of waste. Waste can take many forms, including overproduction, defects, excess inventory, and unnecessary processes. But three types of waste are particularly important to understand: Muda, Muri, and Mura.

we’ll explore each of these three wastes of lean, and how they can impact your business.

Before we dive into the specifics of each waste, let’s define them and understand their impact on your business.
